We have 150 gallon livestock tank that we have constructed to be a very efficient cold plunge. Towels are not provided and we do not require you to have a gym membership in order to utilize the cold plunge. However, gym members will have first priority if there happens to be a wait for the tank.

It's important to consult a doctor before starting, especially if you have underlying health conditions.
Physical benefits
Reduces muscle soreness:
Cold water constricts blood vessels, which can decrease swelling and numb pain signals, easing delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) after exercise.
Boosts metabolism:
Cold exposure can activate brown fat, a type of fat that generates heat and can help the body burn more calories.
Improves circulation:
The practice of blood vessels constricting and then dilating can lead to better overall circulation.
Supports immune function:
Some research suggests that cold exposure stimulates the production of white blood cells, potentially leading to fewer sick days.
Reduces inflammation:
Cold water can help reduce inflammation by lowering levels of certain inflammatory markers.
Mental benefits
Enhances mood:
Cold water can trigger the release of endorphins and noradrenaline, which can improve mood, focus, and alertness.
Improves sleep quality:
The shock of the cold water can lead to better sleep quality over time, especially when it helps mimic the body's natural drop in temperature before sleep.
Reduces stress:
Cold exposure may help the body adapt to stress and has been linked to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Important considerations
Consult a doctor:
Before starting, talk to a healthcare professional, particularly if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
Start gradually:
Begin with shorter sessions and gradually work your way up as you get more comfortable.
Listen to your body:
Pay attention to how your body is responding and be mindful of your limits to avoid risks like hypothermia or cold injuries.
Safety first:
Warm up gradually after a cold plunge and stay hydrated.
